Dear Mr. McMullin:

I recently spoke with Erin Frey regarding an internship with Pricewater houseCoopers’ International Assignment Solutions division of the Tax and Legal Services department, and I am very interested in this position. PricewaterhouseCoopers’ reputation as a “Big Five” accounting firm speaks for itself, and the International Assignment Solutions is known as the leader in consulting for firms with international dimensions. I feel the internship will be a great experience for me, while at the same time allowing me to demonstrate my skills to PricewaterhouseCoopers.

From the PricewaterhouseCoopers website, I have learned that the internship position requires proficiency in finance and accounting. As you will see from my enclosed resume, I have excelled in both academic areas, as well as in business courses overall.  My previous work experience has also allowed me to develop skills which are beneficial in the business world.  Working in the Louisiana State Senate gave me the opportunity to work in teams daily where I was responsible for researching and preparing legislation for the senators, as well as efficiently conducting senate committee meetings. This experience has taught me the importance of functioning as a group with every member completing their assigned tasks to meet deadlines, and I know this will benefit me in any position with PricewaterhouseCoopers.

While working for the Federal Bureau of Investigation, I acquired many technical skills that may also benefit PricewaterhouseCoopers. I am knowledgeable in web development, and I understand that International Assignment Solutions maintains a website independent from PricewaterhouseCoopers that allows clients to learn the latest tax laws from countries where they have projects. Also, my ability to use Microsoft Office will aid in developing cost projections that International Assignment Solutions performs for its clients, and my international experiences have prepared me for dealing with foreign cultures.

I am very excited about the opportunity to be a part of the PricewaterhouseCoopers team, and I feel I can positively contribute to International Assignment Solutions. If you need any additional information, please feel free to contact me at 225-766-3327 or email me at Thank you for your time, and I look forward to hearing from you soon.
